What is sewer jetting? Why do you use a camera while Sewer jetting?

Sewer jetting is a high pressure water jet used to effectively remove debris, grease, tree roots, and other obstructions. This will help restore the flow and function of sewer lines. At Thompson Hovan's, we use a camera to see if there are breaks within the sewer. The use of a camera during sewer jetting allows for a more precise and thorough cleaning process, helps in identifying cleaning process, helps in identifying and addressing underlying issues, and ensures the long-term health and functionality of the sewer system. Using a camera while sewer jetting is beneficial for a few reasons: Inspection, Accuracy, and Verification, and Preventive Maintenance.
